A Timeless Union Station Wedding in Washington DC

From the moment Audrey and Evan contacted me about their Union Station wedding, I knew their day would be special. On a crisp October afternoon in Washington, DC, the historic station’s grand halls and soaring ceilings formed a timeless stage. The atmosphere felt like stepping into a storybook, complete with warm traditions and genuine love.

Getting Ready and a Magical First Look
Before the ceremony, Audrey and Evan prepared at the Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill. Family and friends surrounded them, filling the rooms with happy laughter and gentle excitement. Later, their first look under Union Station’s arches was pure magic. The soft, golden light illuminated the couple’s quiet exchange of smiles, creating an unforgettable moment that blended history and heart.

This Union Station wedding ceremony took place in the elegant Presidential Suite, where friends and family gathered to witness Audrey and Evan promise their futures to each other. They wove cherished traditions into the event, from meaningful readings and a unity candle ceremony to the joyful breaking of the glass. The sound of Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” filled the room as they walked back up the aisle, hand in hand, every guest cheering them on. It was a genuine, exuberant celebration of love—a testament to who they are both as individuals and as partners.

A Lively Reception at the Columbus Club
Afterward, guests moved their Union Station wedding to the Columbus Club for cocktails and dinner beneath ornate ceilings. Throughout the evening, a string quartet provided a graceful soundtrack. The spirited chair lift dance, heartfelt speeches, and open dance floor brought laughter and connection. This celebration was more than just an event—it was a heartfelt tribute to Audrey and Evan’s bond.

Memories to Treasure
Looking back, their Union Station wedding will always stand out for its warmth, authenticity, and timeless style. In this iconic setting, two people joined their lives with family, culture, and love at the center. It was truly a day that captured the essence of what a wedding should be.
